HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US!
One year on air and still going strong!
.... And what a year it has been!
Before we go any further, I would like to publish some statistics that you may be interested in.
The Pulse Radio first went to air at Midnight on the 1st August 2007 (BST).
Our first DJ on air was Nicky, and the first track played was Mike Pinto - Tricky Nicky.
We began streaming at 24k and have recently upgraded to 96k.
The ShoutCast Server has seen over 320GB of bandwidth across it since we began.
270,552 hits have been received on the website since the beginning.
We Currently have 21 DJ's filling 96 Hours of airplay a week.
25 brilliant "Up 'n' Coming" artists have been signed up to air on The Pulse Radio.
The Auto DJ hosts 911MB of mp3 tracks to play during down time.
.... and after 365 days on air, we are setting up to continue streaming quality tunes
and DJ's to you for another 365 days and beyond!
We have had a very interesting year. Going from starting an online radio station
with near no previous knowledge on how to run a radio station, to implementing
The Website, Forums and of course the Auto DJ.
We've had our up's and down's, especially with some of our DJ's having very hard
year's personally. We've all stuck together, helped each other out, and in the end it's
turned out great!
Some of our "up's" include The Ferryman being cleared of illness and GreyWolf's marriage to
his lovely wife, Congratulations!
We are still looking to make more improvements and continue to grow The Pulse Radio.
We definitely are not at our peak, and definitely have a lot more room for expansion.
Your support and suggestions are all greatly appreciated.
The Pulse Radio's popularity has exceeded our own expectations for the station.
The Audience numbers continue to rise, as does the interest in the Website and Chat room.
On that note, We wish to add a huge THANK YOU to all who have, and continue to show
their support. To all our DJ's and "Up 'n' Coming" Artists. To our sponsors and donors,
and of course to the admin team for their continued hard work! This past year would not have
been possible without your support and your belief in us! We love each and every one of you
and look forward to seeing a lot more of you in our future!

DJ of our first year on air! I am very pleased to announce this DJ as none other than....
DJ Wiggly!
As you know, Wiggly is an Admin here at The Pulse Radio. Over the past year, Wiggly has
assisted our DJ's in setting up their software, solving their problems, hosted our chat room,
maintained our website and even with a very hard year personally, he has always managed to
stay positive and supportive to everyone involved with The Pulse Radio.
During the year, Wiggly has accepted a Staff position at TA Chat (Tech Arena Chat), and
has proven himself as a very valuable team member for TA Chat as well as The Pulse Radio.
Wiggly, you make this place what it is, The Pulse Radio, without you in it, would be struggling!
